Cookieless Plausible statistics

We also use Plausible Analytics to measure visits, pageviews, traffic sources, permitted campaign codes and interest in the collection. This separate measurement uses no cookies or browser storage and also works when you decline Google Analytics. The cookie settings below apply to Google Analytics.

Plausible processes analytics on European infrastructure. The IP address and technical browser information are used to derive a temporary visitor identifier that changes daily and an approximate location; raw IP addresses and full User-Agent strings are not stored. Plausible stores event and session records to calculate statistics and presents aggregated reports. Visitors are not recognised across days, websites or devices.

We send fixed page addresses, only predefined campaign values and referring domains from supported sources. Free-form query parameters, fragments, email addresses and message content are not sent. A click on our business email link indicates interest, not a received enquiry or sale. There is currently no Etsy ordering link on this website. Any future Etsy click indicates interest only. Cookies, consent and language choice

You choose whether to allow statistics. Before consent and when you decline, we do not load Google Analytics or send statistics to Google. Your choice, its version and expiry date are stored in your browser on this device for up to 180 days. This necessary storage also remembers a refusal. If storage does not work, measurement stays off. Your language choice is included in the web address and is retained as you navigate the website. Fonts and images are not loaded from external services.

Optional visitor statistics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and posters visitors view, whether they scroll down, and which contact, source and social links they use. A scroll measurement indicates that 90% of the page was visible after consent. This may include the position already open when you agreed; it does not prove that the scrolling action happened afterwards. Earlier pages and clicks are not collected retrospectively. An email-link click indicates contact intent, not a received enquiry. A possible future click to Etsy indicates a shop visit, not a sale. You still cannot order or pay on this website.

Google receives information including a random cookie identifier, cleaned page addresses and referrers, fixed page titles, language, permitted campaign codes, and technical information about the browser, device and approximate location. This involves a network connection to Google. We do not send email addresses, phone numbers, message content, full mailto links or a user ID. Free-form query parameters, fragments and campaign values outside the permitted list are not sent. This is not a guarantee of anonymity.

For statistics, we use _ga for up to 180 days from creation without renewal on each visit, and _ga_CYD6BR9E35 for up to 180 days after the last statistics activity. Your consent choice expires separately after 180 days; visits do not extend that choice. Google receives and processes the data through Google Analytics. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation, Google Signals and user-provided data are off. No advertising or other product links have been added for this measurement.

Retention and changing your choice

GA4 user and event data retention is set to 2 months; a new visit does not restart that period. This setting does not apply to aggregated standard reports, which may remain available longer. Your consent choice and Analytics cookies have the separate lifetimes described above.

You can change or withdraw your consent using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal stops new measurement, removes this site's Analytics cookies, and reloads the page if necessary. It does not automatically delete data already sent to Google. For questions about that data, please use the contact address below.
